Let me introduce myself…
Hi! My name is Meaghan Tholstrup, and I’m currently a Multimedia Specialist Contractor at U.S. Army Material Command. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Business. There is nothing I love more than to express myself in fun and creative ways, so I did not have to think twice about choosing to pursue a career in design. The Graphic Design program at Auburn has taught me so much with my professors constantly challenging my mind and view of design, while also pushing me to grow as a designer. They have really helped me learn how to embrace my strengths as a very detailed-oriented “problem solver,” while also helping me learn how to take constructive criticism and how to trust my own creative instincts. After securing my first “big girl” design job last year, I’m hoping to continue my growth after my contract ends and secure a position in a design firm where I can progress and be challenged even more. I am beyond excited for all the opportunities that this field presents and cannot wait to see where I end up next!
